Pirates of Penzance on Tour, 2014

The Pirates of Penzance was performed on Thursday 21st August 2014 (matinee) in the 21st International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Harrogate at the Harrogate Theatre.

Pirates of Penzance won 5 awards at the UNIFest including Best Show leaving LOpSoc as International Champions, which were as follows:

• Best Show
• Best Director - Jon North
• Best Musical Director - Thomas Joy
• Best Character Actor - Richard Patient
• Best Male Performance - Joe Hand

Additionally two other performances were nominated for awards:

• Best Female Voice - Rosie Bowen
• Best Female Performance - Jenny Samuel
