Cody is a gay trainwreck of a human, and Fiona’s little guy.
He got dragged into the band for the Roman Mikado (Augustus) when Fiona realised he was, in fact, a person that she could forcibly recruit. Since then he has been dragged into playing an entirely new instrument and then to play both at once for Iolanthe due to horn player shortages.
In the 2025 Pirates of Penzance Afterparty Cody made a passable attempt at being Frederic, and did a much worse job at being Iolanthe in that one.
At Buxton 2025 he was overheard tan-tan-tara-ing in his sleep, and was also told by his mother that she was more worried about him having chosen the name Cody than the fact he might be nonbinary (her suggestions for nonbinary names were ‘Zed’ or ‘Trumpet Herald’)
