Cody is a gay little trainwreck of a human. He got dragged into the band for the Roman Mikado (Augustus) when Fiona realised he was, in fact, a person that she could forcibly recruit. Since then he has been dragged into playing an entirely new instrument and then to play both at once for Iolanthe due to horn player shortages.
In the 2025 Pirates of Penzance Afterparty Cody made a passable attempt at being Frederick, and did a much worse job at being Iolanthe in that one.
